# Login Page Setup

The WP User Manager requires a [login page](https://wpusermanager.com/tutorials/how-to-create-a-custom-login-page-for-wordpress-in-5-steps/).

**The page will be created on installation of the plugin. However, if it is deleted or you need to set it up again, follow these instructions.**

This page should contain the [login form shortcode](https://wpusermanager.com/article/170-login-form-shortcode/). This page is required by WPUM and it's used across your site and linked when necessary.

### How to create this page

1   Navigate to "Pages -> add new" into your WordPress dashboard.   2   Create a new page and give it a title.   3   Add the [login form shortcode](https://wpusermanager.com/article/170-login-form-shortcode/) to the page content.   4   Save the page   5   Navigate to "Users -> Settings" into your WP dashboard   6   Select the login page you have just created into the option called "login page"
