# Registering new template locations

By default, WP User Manager will look in your theme directory in the `wpum` folder for any templates you have customized, that will overrdie the default WP User Manager ones.

However, if you want to store your templates elsewhere, like in a plugin or mu-plugin, you can tell WP User Manager where they located using this code:
