"Group" is a general term that might not fit your site. If your members join organizations, teams or clubs, use that name instead.

Go to **Users > Settings > Groups** and set:

- **Group Singular Name**, for example "Team"
- **Group Plural Name**, for example "Teams"

The names are used across the site and the dashboard:

- group pages move to `yoursite.com/team/<group>/`
- the front-end create form moves to `yoursite.com/teams/new/`
- the profile tab, the directory buttons, the emails' names and the dashboard menu use the new names

After changing the names, go to **Settings > Permalinks** and click **Save Changes**, so WordPress picks up the new URLs.
