Populating a fields options with a large set of options

If you are using a custom field like a dropdown, multiselect, checkbox group or radio button group, populating the options for the field can be time consuming if your field has a lot of options. 

Previously you would have to type in each option’s value and label manually or use a filter to populate the options from a stored dataset (for example, using a
PHP array of US states for a field).

As of WP User Manager 2.8.9 you can take a CSV list of options and paste them into the field options to quickly populate your field options.

For example, you have a list of countries like this – one option per line, value and label comma separated:

england,England 
france,France 
germany,Germany

When creating a custom field with options, click ‘Add option’ to add an option with value and label inputs. Copy the list and paste into the first value input. All the options will be automagically populated into options:
