Adding social login methods to your site gives users a quick and easy way to sign up and login into your site.
WP User Manager allows users to register and sign up from the frontend of the site, and this can be extended with the Social Login addon.

WP User Manager is one of the most straightforward to use WordPress membership plugins available, with a large number of
features that turn your WordPress site into a membership platform.

Create a LinkedIn App

Login with your LinkedIn account at the following page
https://www.linkedin.com/developer/apps then click the “Create app” button. Fill all the required fields of the form.

On the next screen you will need to click ‘Request access’ for the ‘Sign In With LinkedIn using OpenID Connect’. This access is usually granted instantly

Once an app has been created, you’ll be readirected to the settings of your app where you’ll find Client ID and Client Secret keys under the ‘Auth’ tab.

Under the OAuth 2.0 settings section, add your ‘Authorized redirect URL’ as your website URL followed by /?wpumsl=linkedin so if your website url is http://example.com you’ll need to type http://example.com/?wpumsl=linkedin and then press the “Add” button.

Ensure the correct scopes are listed:

Add credentials in WordPress

Make a copy of the Client ID and Client Secret keys. Now login into your WordPress dashboard and navigate to ”
Users -> Settings -> General -> Social Login” and locate the settings LinkedIn Client ID and LinkedIn Client Secret and type the keys from your LinkedIn APP.

Now you’re ready to accept logins through LinkedIn.
