Google reCAPTCHA Installation

The Google reCAPTCHA addon is a paid addon, installed like any other plugin you upload. WP User Manager must be installed and active first.

Install from your WordPress dashboard

  1. Download the addon’s zip file from your account on wpusermanager.com. Don’t unzip it.
  2. In WordPress, go to Plugins > Add New Plugin and click Upload Plugin.
  3. Choose the zip file and click Install Now.
  4. Click Activate Plugin.

Install over FTP

  1. Unzip the file on your computer. Inside is a folder called wpum-recaptcha-pro.
  2. Upload that whole folder (not just its contents) to wp-content/plugins/ on your server.
  3. In WordPress, go to Plugins and activate WPUM reCAPTCHA.

Activate your license

Go to Settings > WPUM Licenses, enter your license key from your wpusermanager.com account and save. The license gives you updates and support.

Next steps

  1. Generate your reCAPTCHA API keys in Google Cloud.
  2. Configure reCAPTCHA by adding the keys under Users > Settings > General > reCAPTCHA.
