WP User Manager, upon activation creates a “Primary” Field group. This group manages the fields available by default with WordPress.
On profile pages, fields are arranged and separated by groups. Creating new fields groups will also create a separate tab within the account page containing a form with the fields assigned to that specific group.

Customizing a field group
Each group can have it’s name and description. The name is displayed within the profile page and also within the account page. The description may be displayed depending on your theme.
The “group settings” window provides you 2 options to customize the name and description of each group. Once you’re done with the customization, press the “Save changes” button to save your changes.
