Setting fields as required

Certain fields can be set as required during the registration or profile editing process. Not all fields can be changed, and specific fields (e.g email) will always be required.

In order to set a field as required, navigate to Users > Custom fields then click “Customize fields” for the field group which contains the fields you want to edit. This is usually the ‘Primary fields’ group for the default fields, eg. First name, Last name.

Click the “Edit field” button of the field you wish to customize.

A new window will appear with all the settings related to that field. On the left side of the modal window you will see the “Validation” menu. Click on the tab to display the validation settings.

Click on the ”
Set as required” option to set the field as required.

Once you have finished, click the “Save field” button to confirm your changes.
