When a new user registers on your site, they will receive an email about their registration. This can be customized via Users > Emails > Registration confirmation > Customize.

The email content can be customized with the different personalization tags, such as {username} or {email}. But what if you want to use custom field data that the user filled out in their registration form, in the email body?

Now you can using special template tags for custom fields.

To find out the tags need, take a look at the fields used in your registration form and find the field Unique meta key, eg:

This is the tag to use in the email body. To edit the email go to Users > Emails > Registration confirmation and click ‘Customize’, then ‘Open email content editor’.

The tag to use will be {unique meta key}, eg {field_15}
